Paul McCartney Is Finding Divorce Very Painful

Paul McCartneyPaul McCartney has kept mum about his very bitter split with Heather Mill and breaks his silence (a little) in the October 20-26 issue of London's The Radio Times, "Going through a divorce is a very painful thing."

Just last week, Mills reportedly rejected McCartney's $100 million settlement offer because she refused to sign the accompanying gag order that would restrict her from speaking about their failed marriage.

McCartney says that he will continue to hold his head high and persevere until the end of this long, ugly, drawn out drama.

"As Winston Churchill once said, 'If you're going through hell, keep going!'" he said.

"The only solution is to remain dignified. If I don't keep a silence about it, I lose this idea of being dignified."

Although the last few years have been hard, music has helped him through the challenges.

"It's been a difficult time," he said. "Music is the therapy for me. In fact, going through difficulties has only concentrated my desire to make good music."

James Tupper Is a Down-Home Guy

James Tupper Is a Down-Home Guy I admit it, I've been hooked on Men in Trees since it hit the airwaves last fall. Despite the off-screen drama surrounding stars Anne Heche and James Tupper who became a couple while both were married to other people, I tune in dutifully whenever its on (which has been a bit random and ever-changing). So accordingly, I was delighted when it came back to the regular schedule on ABC last Friday.

The reason I'm hooked on the show --- James Tupper.

This week he talks with OK! magazine about the show and the drama that has followed himself and Heche since become a couple off-screen.
Some highlights:

On his relationship with Heche:
“We are very fond of each other. You know what I noticed when I worked with Sissy Spacek [on the upcoming movie Pictures of Hollis Woods] is that look of love and wisdom in her eyes and Anne has the same thing. She’s a woman who’s gone through a lot and has come out with an enormous heart. She’s a phenomenal actress and she’s a wonderful force to work with.”

On what attracted him to her:
“I am mystified. I’ll tell you something funny. They call the place I come from down-home. And it’s funny there’s a down-home feeling. My dad couldn’t believe I was called sexy. I think I have a little bit of that attitude. I’m a guy whose trying to love every day and this glorious person who fell in love with me thinks I’m great. It’s beautiful.”

Former Boy-Banders Regroup

Former Boy-Banders RegroupOver the summer, former boy-banders Joey Fatone ('N Sync), Drew Lachey (98 Degrees), Joey Lawrence (solo-artist/actor), and Joey McIntyre (New Kids on the Block) got to spend a lot of time together on the Dancing with the Stars concert tour. They enjoyed each others company enough that they are reuniting into a new recording group -- The Fellas.

“I’ve been working on a project with Drew Lachey, Joey Lawrence and Joey McIntyre doing like old school tunes,” Joey Fatone revealed. “It’s kind of like a Rat Pack thing. We’re calling it The Fellas.”

The new group has another thing in common -- all are celebrity dads or dads-to-be. Fatone has a six-year-old daughter, Briahna. Lachey has a one-year-old daughter, Isabella. Lawrence has a one-year-old daughter, Chari. McIntyre and his wife Barrett are currently expecting their first child.

Fatone put aside rumors that his former group, 'N Sync, would be reuniting anytime soon due to scheduling among the members.

“You never know,” says Fatone. “It’s all about timing, about finding the time to say, can we do it? Is it possible? Is it feasible to do it with everybody time-wise? Everybody’s doing their own thing now, you got J.C. [Chasez] with his own album out, Justin [Timberlake] touring, Lance [Bass] doing Hairspray on Broadway and Chris [Kirkpatrick] doing the VH1 Man Band show so it’s really finding the time to say, can we do it? Is it possible?

“[Maybe] one day, it’s like, ‘Hey, I’m free in the year 2010. Let’s do it!’ You never know.”
