'Queen of Pop' Madonna says she was attracted to her ex-husbands Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie because they are 'creative' people.

The 53-year-old singer said that she was attracted to both Penn and Ritchie as they were interesting, talented and encouraged her to pursue her personal acting and directing dreams.

“I am and was attracted to very creative people which is why I married Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie, very talented directors, and they both encouraged me as a director to do what I did. They were both very supportive,” said the Material Girl.

The pop superstar, whose second directorial 'WE' was recently screened at the Venice Film Festival, says movies inspired her to become an artist when she was a child.

“I've always loved films, all my life. As a child I was always inspired by movies and I always had it in the back of my mind that I wanted to make one... Making films is reallyhard in the first place,” she said.

'WE' focuses on the relationship between Britain's King Edward VIII's and American divorcee Wallis Simpson and his decision to abdicate the British throne in 1936 to marry her.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Throw Suri a Special Tea Party

The day before Katie Holmes ran in the New York City Marathon, she and husband Tom Cruise threw a special tea party for their 18-month-old daughter Suri.

The party was held at the Carlyle Hotel's Bemelmans Bar, which is decorated with artwork from the Madeline series of children's books, written by the late author Ludwig Bemelmans.

Approximately 10 children and 15 adults attended and munched on mini burgers, chicken fingers, mac and cheese, french fries, cookies and strawberries, and while dancing to kids' songs played on the piano by Tina deVaron according to People magazine.

"Suri and her friends had a Madeline tea," an observer revealed. Suri herself was "running around and dancing and playing with friends."

The next day, Holmes ran the marathon in about five and a half hours before strapping on her heals to attend the premiere of Lions for Lambs with Cruise.

Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber are on today's episode of Oprah talking about her home and busy life in Malibu with their kids Presley, 8, and Kaya, 6.

The center of the family's Malibu beach home is the kitchen. Cindy's morning splurge - a cup of decaf tea... with a little twist. "This is the key to my tea. It's vanilla powder and it's from the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and I make an English breakfast tea. It's almost like a grown-up hot chocolate," she says.



Cindy loves to collect and organize pictures of her family. "Rande can attest to this, I love family photos, and I collect maybe three months' worth in a bowl. Then, I'll sit down one night and kind of lay it out, edit and then write captions. So if you come to my house or anyone comes over, I don't have to walk you through the album," she says. "That way if my mom's visiting, I give her a glass of wine, give her a photo album, I'll cook dinner, and she can enjoy the photo album."



Even though she can be a fashionista when she hits the red carpet, Cindy's favorite daily clothes are T-shirts by promom couture. "I'm a mom and I live in Malibu, so most days I'm wearing jeans and a T-shirt. I love these T-shirts because they're all about being a mom, but I think they're cute," she says. "This one, for instance, looks like a Grateful Dead T-shirt, but it says, 'Grateful Mom.'" (The tees by Promom Couture are also some of my favorite daily clothes!)

Halle Berry has been no stranger to domestic violence - both as a child and as a adult.

"My mother was a battered woman and that was my childhood for a good chunk of it," the star tells NBC's Natalie Morales.

The Oscar-winning actress talks with NBC Nightly News about her abusive history as her inspiration for becoming involved with the Jenesse Center, an Los Angeles shelter that provides support for domestic violence victims.

"I care, I really care about these women and children," says Berry about the center.

Berry has found happiness with her 19-month-old daughter Hala and boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey.
