Did you know that only 7% of the Directors Guild of America are women?Glamour Magazine Reel Moments is helping to increase that number by providing opportunities for women to get behind the camera and direct a short film for the first time.
The Reel Life series are inspired from Glamour Magazine readers' real life stories and directed by some of the most powerful women in Hollywood. Past participants have included Gwyneth Patrow, Jennifer Aniston, and Bryce Dallas Howard.
This years directors include two Celebrity Moms -- Rita Wilson and Kate Hudson (Kirsten Dunst is the third director). The films made their debut last week at a Hollywood gala.
