It's been a bad month for Britney Spears and it just got worse.Spears was charged with hit-and-run causing property damage and driving without a valid license yesterday in the Los Angeles. The charges are the result of her much documented fender-bender in a store parking lot on August 6. While parking, she scraped the bumper of the car next to her, mugged for the paparazzi and left the scene without leaving a note.
According to the spokesperson for the city attorney's office, Spears has never been issued a California drivers license.
If convicted on both misdemeanor charges, Spears can face up to a year in jail.
